Meet Sterling “Butchdrums” Lloyd, founder of Keepin’ it real the band, known affectionately from St. Louis, MO. With over 30 years of musical experience, Butch has become a prominent figure in the St. Louis music scene and beyond. A true triple threat, he mesmerizes audiences with his prowess in singing, drumming, and dancing. Butch's versatility shines through as he effortlessly navigates various genres, from Jazz to Gospel, R&B to Country, and beyond.
“ Lead Vocalist”
Meet Cheyenne Slack “Lead Vocalist”, who started working with Keepin’ it Real a few short years ago. Her love for classics led her to sing for such an incredible band, who welcomes her youthful spirit paired with an old soul. She also praises God every Sunday as a member of “The Bridge North County Praise Team”. When she is not singing, she also hosts with WSIE 88.7 “The Sound” every Friday from 7pm - 12am CST with local & smooth jazz paired with some blues and R&B.
Meet Wayne, our dynamic bassist. Wayne picked up the bass at 17 while training in the military. Since then, he’s been using the skills he learned to dominate on the stage. As a member of Keepin’ It Real, he gratefully appreciates the position of bass player with such as group of fantastic musicians that is also know for great talent.
